Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water (110-115°F)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add the warm water and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients, and mix until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place the loaf in a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan, and let it rise for an additional 30 minutes.
Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
Remove the bread from the oven, and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
Enjoy your freshly baked bread!
